“Made – Not Bought” Performance
Following the success of the inaugural performance Touch and Go, Celery Soup, Florida’s Folk Life Play launches its new production Made – Not Bought. The authentic stories told by the people of Sanford have been woven into tales of triumph and toil, happiness and heartbreak, amusement and amazement.
Enchanting accounts of growing up, growing old and charming characters will capture your heart and delight your soul as they portray numerous reasons so many choose Sanford and Central Florida as the place they hang their hat. It’s not just where we’re living, this is HOME.
Let our cast of over 70 illuminate the lesson that our homes are not bought but made with love, friendship, trust and community. Original music, dance and a script crafted with a laugh and a twist will leave you wanting another big helping of Celery Soup!
